Education as a ticket to independence
In Tanzania, training is not common. We see this practical area as an important foundation for long-term, sustainable change. All training offers are combined with the school projects. In this way, we create a unique opportunity for local people to become independent.
In Loolera there were only mud huts. Only the old government building and the old school building were available. In cooperation with the Tanzanian team, we have already been able to implement several training projects.
We are proud that we were able to implement the “tailoring” project.
Tailoring for the future
The aim is for people to be able to earn their own living with their skills.
So orders are soon accepted. For the next school year, new school uniforms are needed, which will be sewn here.
Our idea is also to design our own fashion brand - clothes made in Loolera - a synonym for unique:

At the moment, 25 young ladies and 2 men are learning everything they need for their future work under the guidance of an experienced seamstress:
Cutting, taking measurements, from simple seams to difficult cuts – everything is included in the course material.
